Solitamente, i dischi di Natale sono totalmente inutili. Spiace dirlo, ma questo da parte della carinissima, e pure brava, musicista country-pop originaria dell'Oklahoma, uscito tra l'altro in Settembre, quindi fastidiosamente in anticipo, è più che inutile, e serve esclusivamente per far tornare il suo nome d'attualità. Undici tracce, otto super classici natalizi della tradizione anglosassone o comunque europea poi "esportata", più tre tracce inedite, Let There Be Peace e Sweet Baby Jesus (la prima passabile, la seconda trascurabile), co-scritte dalla stessa Carrie, e Hallelujah scritta (e interpretata in duetto con la stessa Carrie) da John Legend e Toby Gad (sufficiente, ma prevedibile). Non ce n'era bisogno, ma Carrie, ti voglio bene lo stesso.
Usually, Christmas albums are totally useless. Sorry to say, but this from the cute, and also good, country-pop musician originally from Oklahoma, released by the way in September, so annoyingly early, is more than useless, and only serves to get her name back topical. Eleven tracks, eight Christmas super classics of the Anglo-Saxon or European tradition then "exported", plus three unreleased tracks, Let There Be Peace and Sweet Baby Jesus (the first passable, the second negligible), co-written by Carrie herself, and Hallelujah written (and performed in duet with Carrie herself) by John Legend and Toby Gad (sufficient, but predictable). There was no need, but Carrie, I love you just the same.
