Secondo album per la band scozzese di Edinburgo, dopo il debutto con Asheran nel 2017 (la loro discografia include anche tre EP, Progenitor del 2013, Aurora Majesty del 2014, e Omega Severer del 2020). Liriche che flirtano con la fantascienza, musicalmente siamo di fronte ad un metal progressivo che si sposa con sludge e stoner, ed in molti li accostano ai primi Mastodon. Ecco, diciamo che accostarli semplicemente è un eufemismo, siamo ai limiti del plagio, se non fosse per le voci, quelle dure sono quasi growl, quelle pulite sono quasi migliori di quelle della band di Atlanta, Georgia. Disco in se stesso niente male, ma se consideriamo che pure la copertina richiama moltissimo lo stile dei Baroness, urge un innesto di personalità.

Lyrics that flirt with science fiction, musically we are faced with a progressive metal that goes well with sludge and stoner, and many approach them to the first Mastodon. Well, let's just say that approach them is an understatement, we are on the verge of plagiarism, if it weren't for the voices, the harsh ones are almost growl, the clean ones are almost better than those of the Atlanta, Georgia band. The album itself is not bad, but if we consider that even the cover recalls the style of the Baroness a lot, a personality graft is urgently needed.
