Altra esponente, se vogliamo, del death gospel, è la canadese di Toronto Nicole Ann Bell, in arte Nicole Dollanganger, cognome "prelevato" dal libro Fiori senza sole (Flowers in the Attic) di V. C. Andrews. L'accostamento al genere (se di genere si tratta, in realtà è qualcosa di diverso, un po' come lo fu il grunge a fine anni '80 inizio '90) può sembrare forzato, visto che la ragazza viene più spesso inquadrata come sadcore o dream pop; senza dubbio è più lontana da Emma Ruth Rundle, Chelsea Wolfe e A.A.Williams, ma non troppo da Louise Lemon. Il disco contiene dieci tracce delicatissime, dolenti, rarefatte e sognanti. Pianoforte e tastiere, chitarre e percussioni rarefatte, la voce di Nicole, dall'estensione molto acuta, accarezza l'ascoltatore, ma lo percuote con liriche durissime. Altra sorprendente "scoperta" fatta per curiosità e "accostamenti" ad altri artisti musicali, decisamente da approfondire e da diffondere.

The combining to genre (if it is a genre, it is actually something different, a bit like grunge was in the late 80s and early 90s) may seem forced, given that the girl is more often framed as sadcore or dream pop; she no doubt she is further away from Emma Ruth Rundle, Chelsea Wolfe and A.A. Williams, but not too far from Louise Lemon. The album contains ten very delicate, painful, rarefied and dreamy tracks. Piano and keyboards, guitar and percussions rarefied, Nicole's voice, with a very high range, caresses the listener, but hits him with very hard lyrics. Another surprising "discovery" made thanks to curiosity and "combinations" with other musical artists, definitely to be explored and disseminated.
