Sesto disco per la cantante, compositrice e multistrumentista irlandese di Dublino, a circa quattro anni di distanza dal precedente Life Love Flesh Blood, del 2017, dove si allontanava, forse definitivamente, dal rockabilly, genere che ne aveva caratterizzato i primi 15 anni di attività. Con questo 11 Past the Hour, la nostra continua sulla strada di un cantautorato a tutto tondo, mischiando soul, jazz, americana, soft rock. Ha una bella voce, e sa scrivere le canzoni, stavolta ospita Ronnie Wood (Made to Love, Just One Kiss), gli attivisti Gina Martin e Shola Mos-Shogbamimu (entrambi su Made to Love), Niall McNamee (Don't Let Me Stand on My Own), Miles Kane (What We Did in the Dark), Noel Gallagher (anche lui su Just One Kiss); disco piacevole, con qualche spunto buono, ma che graffia poco.
