Sleeps Society - While She Sleeps (2021)
Quinto album per la band di Sheffield, UK, quindici anni di onesta militanza metalcore, band che sta percorrendo, come molte altre, un cammino di cambiamento e innovazione bilanciato: il risultato è che adesso si trovano in un "campo" immaginario tra il rigore stilistico e l'eccellenza melodica degli Architects, e la voglia di osare qualcosa di più, come gli sfacciati Bring Me the Horizon. Il disco è piacevole, con alcuni picchi davvero interessanti; il giudizio è quindi positivo, seppur non eccelso.
Fifth album for the band from Sheffield, UK, fifteen years of honest metalcore militancy, a band that is walking, like many others, a path of change and balanced innovation: the result is that they are now in an imaginary "field" between rigor stylistic and melodic excellence of the Architects, and the desire to dare something more, like the cheeky Bring Me the Horizon. The album is nice, with some really interesting peaks; the judgment is therefore positive, albeit not excellent.
