Secondo album per la band cilena, i componenti sono tutti di etnia Mapuche e cantano in Mapudungun, la lingua dei loro antenati (sterminati, o quasi, dai Conquistadores). "Sponsorizzati" dai Gojira, molto attenti alle popolazioni native (Joe Duplantier è ospite sulla conclusiva Ti inan paw-pawkan), praticano un groove metal interessante, perché intrecciato con elementi tribali, e appunto, per le liriche in una lingua conosciuta da pochissimi. Album interessante.
This is the second album from this Chilean band. The members are all Mapuche and sing in Mapudungun, the language of their ancestors (who were almost exterminated by the Conquistadors). "Sponsored" by Gojira, who are very attentive to the native populations (Joe Duplantier guest-stars on the closing track, "Ti inan paw-pawkan"), they perform an interesting groove metal style, intertwined with tribal elements and, indeed, with lyrics in a language spoken by very few. An interesting album.
