Seppure tutto sommato prevedibile, devo ammettere che questo EP contente cinque nuove tracce di Serj Tankian, tracce che, si vocifera, erano state scritte per la reunion dei System of a Down ma non accettate dal resto della band, è piacevolmente sorprendente. Eclettico, coraggioso per come porta la sua voce sempre al limite, egualmente influenzato dal metal e dalla musica sinfonica, come pure da mille altre influenze, intelligente e politicamente impegnato nelle liriche, questo Elasticity contiene appunto, cinque tracce tutte da ascoltare con una certa avidità, sperando che i suoi mille impegni al di fuori della musica, gli permettano di continuare a "coltivarla": troppo talento per andare in pensione anticipata.
