Perfectly Preserved - Love and Death (2021)
Secondo album per la band di Brian Head Welch dei Korn, prosecuzione, dal 2012, del suo progetto solista, con questo nome. Il disco mi ha sorpreso piacevolmente: niente più di un nu metal piuttosto "classico", molto molto vicino a quello dei (migliori) Korn, molto ruffiano (nel senso che tutte le dieci tracce sono estremamente orecchiabili, perfino pop - Let Me Love You -, seppure il suono sia estremamente potente), ma davvero irresistibile per chi ha amato anche questo genere di metal. Uno dei dischi che ho preferito in questa primissima parte dell'anno.
Second album for the band of Brian Head Welch from Korn, continuation, since 2012, of his solo project, with this name. The record pleasantly surprised me: nothing more than a rather "classic" nu metal, very very close to that of the (best) Korn, very "persuasive" (meaning that all ten tracks are extremely catchy, even pop - Let Me Love You for example -, although the sound is extremely powerful), but really irresistible for those who also loved this kind of metal. One of my favorite records in this very early part of the year.
