Settimo album del collettivo canadese, accompagnato, come per il disco precedente, da una dichiarazione comprendente un elenco di richieste (come nei casi di rapimento): svuotare le prigioni, prendere il potere dalla polizia e darlo ai quartieri che terrorizzano, porre fine alle guerre eterne e tutte le altre forme di imperialismo, tassare i ricchi finché non si impoveriscono. Beh, già solo per questo potremmo dichiararlo disco dell'anno. Ma torniamo alla musica: se mai avete ascoltato qualche loro disco, o se addirittura li avete visti qualche volta dal vivo, sapete cosa aspettarvi. I GY!BE sono dei folli razionali, che fanno musica classica contemporanea, partendo dal rock. Mettono in musica le frustrazioni di tutti i giorni, le nostre paure e le nostre aspettative. Ogni disco, ogni traccia è un viaggio nell'inconscio. Questo nuovo album non fa eccezione. Sappiate solo che teoricamente, la struttura del disco è quattro tracce, alternando una lunga e una breve, ma che i principali servizi di streaming dividono diversamente le tracce 1 e 3, proponendo un totale di otto tracce, ma siate pronti al viaggio.

Seventh album by the Canadian collective, accompanied, as for the previous album, by a declaration including a list of requests (as in cases of kidnapping): empty the prisons, take power from the police and give it to the neighborhoods that terrorize, end the wars eternal and all other forms of imperialism, tax the rich until they become impoverished. Well, for this alone we could declare it album of the year. But back to music: if you have ever listened to any of their records, or if you have even seen them live, you know what to expect. The GY!BE are rational fools, who make contemporary classical music, starting from rock. They set everyday frustrations, our fears and our expectations to music. Each record, each track is a journey into the unconscious. This new album is no exception. Just know that theoretically, the disc structure is four tracks, alternating long and short, but that the main streaming services divide tracks 1 and 3 differently, offering a total of eight tracks, but be ready to travel.
