Mi sono avvicinato all'ottavo album della band di Taranto senza mai averli ascoltati prima d'oggi, ma con grande curiosità, al netto delle ispirazioni sataniste (il nome deriva da quello del sorvegliante delle 26 legioni dell'Inferno, le liriche si occupano anche di quello), che sappiamo benissimo essere spesso un pretesto per polemizzare su altro. Nonostante le definizioni di genere auto-imposte, e devo dire, piuttosto altisonanti (alien-black-hard/industrial), il disco è ottimamente suonato, ma, se vogliamo interpretarlo come un difetto, piuttosto eterogeneo. Nel corso delle quattordici tracce (oltre un'ora di durata), si apprezzano influenze disparate: da Marilyn Manson a Rob Zombie / White Zombie, dai Celtic Frost agli Ulver più recenti, e con molte tracce con uno stile che ricorda moltissimo i grandi Motorpsycho.

I approached the eighth album of the band from Taranto (Apulia, Italy) without ever having listened to them before today, but with great curiosity, net of Satanist inspirations (the name derives from that of the overseer of the 26 legions of Hell, the lyrics also deal with than that), which we know very well is often a pretext to argue about something else. Despite the self-imposed, and I must say, rather high-sounding (alien-black-hard/industrial) genre definitions, the record is excellently played, but, if we want to interpret it as a flaw, rather heterogeneous. Over the course of the fourteen tracks (over an hour in duration), disparate influences are appreciated: from Marilyn Manson to Rob Zombie/White Zombie, from Celtic Frost to the most recent Ulver, and with many tracks with a style that is very reminiscent of the great Motorpsycho.
