Heterosexuality - Shamir (2022)
A circa due anni di distanza dal precedente Shamir, ecco l'ottavo album per Shamir Bailey, del quale abbiamo parlato brevemente in occasione, appunto, del disco del 2020 (recensito con grande ritardo, ma del resto c'è tanta musica sotto il cielo). Dieci tracce molto belle, per lo più ritmate (e una sorta di ballad, Father), che confermano capacità di composizione intriganti. Il suo falsetto ricorda molti grandi del passato, come accennato nella precedente recensione, e credetemi, in alcune occasioni, se non avete i paraocchi, vi farà venire i brividi.
About two years after the previous Shamir, here is the eighth album for Shamir Bailey, of which we spoke briefly on the occasion of the 2020 album (reviewed with great delay, but there is a lot of music under the sky). Ten very beautiful tracks, mostly with rhythm (and a sort of ballad, Father), which confirm intriguing composing skills. His falsetto is reminiscent of many greats of the past, as mentioned in the previous review, and believe me, on some occasions, if you don't have blinders, it will give you chills.
