Il quartetto di Denver, Colorado, dopo l'acclamato Hidden History of the Human Race (2019), loro secondo album, rischiano tutto, pubblicando un disco totalmente ambient, come fanno notare in molti, un po' come quando i Wolves in the Throne Room pubblicarono Celestite. C'è un forte retrogusto dei Popol Vuh e di molte colonne sonore soprattutto di un certo tipo di fantascienza, in questi 40 minuti di musica suddivisi in 2 suite composte ognuna da 4 movimenti, senza dubbio suggestivi. In rete fioccano le accuse di tradimento e di inutilità, ma al contrario, io apprezzo la sperimentazione.
