Existential Reckoning - Puscifer (2020)
Quarto album per il progetto collaterale di Maynard Keenan, sempre più simili ad una versione moderna e molto intrigante degli Human League, o addirittura quella dark dei Depeche Mode con due voci (una delle quali quella femminile di Carina Round). Poche novità, ma un disco senza tracce brutte (a questo punto, qualcosa di impossibile per MK, evidentemente), anche se alla lunga un po' ripetitivo. Certo, la costruzione delle armonie vocali, così come la parte strumentale, è da manuale.
Fourth album for Maynard Keenan's side project, more and more similar to a modern and very intriguing version of the Human League, or even the dark one of Depeche Mode with two voices (one of which is the female one of Carina Round). Few news, but a record with no bad tracks (at this point, something impossible for MK, obviously), even if in the long run a bit repetitive. Of course, the construction of the vocal harmonies, as well as the instrumental part, is by the book.
