Lindsey Erin Jordan, chitarrista, cantante e compositrice conosciuta come Snail Mail, è uno dei molti fenomeni statunitensi dell'indie rock. Nata e cresciuta in un sobborgo di Baltimora, da una proprietaria di un negozio di lingerie e un dipendente di una casa editrice di libri di testo, comincia a suonare la chitarra a 5 anni, vede i Paramore dal vivo a 8, suona in chiesa e a scuola con varie band, a 12 anni comincia a scrivere canzoni proprie, e ad esibirsi nei locali. A 16 anni viene notata dalla Matador che ripubblica il suo EP Habit. Qua è al suo secondo album, uscito nel novembre dello scorso anno, album che contiene dieci tracce tra le quali l'irresistibile singolo che gli dà il titolo, e un'altra manciata di canzoncine interessanti, ma non trascendentali. Lindsey Erin Jordan, guitarist, singer and songwriter known as Snail Mail, is one of many American indie rock phenomena. Born and raised in a Baltimore suburb from a lingerie shop owner and a textbook publisher employee, she begins playing guitar at age 5, sees Paramore live at 8, plays guitar in church and in school bands, at 12 she begins to write her own songs, and to perform in clubs. At 16 she is noticed by the label Matador who reissues her EP Habit. This is her second album, released in November last year, an album that contains ten tracks including the irresistible single that gives it its title, and another handful of interesting but not transcendental songs.
