Amala - Doja Cat (2018)
Disco di debutto (sulla lunga distanza) per Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, in arte Doja Cat, un personaggino di quelli che spesso appaiono sulla scena musicale statunitense, molto controverso, sboccato, spesso costretta a scusarsi per status pubblicati sui sociali, autrice di liriche abbastanza spensierate e dalle tematiche a volte sessuali, a volte solo non troppo impegnate. Il disco in questione, uscito nel 2018, è stato ripubblicato in versione Deluxe solo un anno dopo, ed ha riscosso parecchio successo; ci sono alcune tracce abbastanza irresistibili (Go To Town su tutte), siamo dalle parti di un RNB mescolato sapientemente con l'hip-hop e la trap, la ragazza se la cava bene ed ha pure una bella voce, ma a volte stento ad intuire i motivi di tanto riscontro.

The album in question, released in 2018, was re-released in the Deluxe version only a year later, and was very successful; there are some quite irresistible tracks (Go To Town above all), we are from the parts of an RNB expertly mixed with hip-hop and trap, the girl knows how to rap and sing and has a beautiful voice too, but sometimes I struggle to guess the reasons for so much response.
